| Description: | Luke originally joined the Poppies from Northampton Town having previously impressed during a loan spell in 2004/5. Luke is a cultured defender who enjoys playing football in the right way and already has international experience for two different countries! Luke likes going forward when he gets the chance, which paid dividends against AFC Telford, as he scored his third goal for the Poppies in the 1-0, victory at the New Bucks Head. This was one of the pivotal games of the season, which led the challange for the Blue Square North Championship. Luke was loaned to Kings Lynn throughout the 2008-09 season but he joined Mansfield Town in May 2009. Later played for York City appearing in the play-off final at Wembley, before returning to the Poppies under Lee Harper in June 2010. |
