Born Islington. Previous clubs: Luton Town, Chesterfield, Northampton Town, Stevenage Borough, St Albans City, Hayes, Boston United, Leyton Orient, Bristol City, Torquay United, Brentford, MK Dons, Rushden & Diamonds. A Lee Harper non-contract signing in January 2010 to replace himself due to a compressed nerve in his back that had been thwarting his continuation between the sticks. Nathan is the brother of Zema who played for the Poppies in 2006. Nathan became only the third keeper since 1979 to save a penalty on his debut as he denied Ebbsfleet’s Peter Holmes, in the Poppies 2-1 win at Stonebridge Road, although he was powerless for the Fleet’s ex-Poppy Moses Ashikodi (who has since rejoined the club)scoring an equalising penalty in the same game.
Nathan extended his Poppies career under Lee Harper for the 2010-11 campaign.

Moses became Millwall's youngest player at 15 years and 240 days to make his league debut for the club. He later went on to play for West Ham United, Glasgow Rangers, where he played in the Old Firm game against Celtic, Watford, Hereford United and Shrewsbury Town.

A Mark Cooper signing on transfer deadline line day, the former England U16,17,18 & 19 international became an instant Poppies hero scoring on his debut as a late substitute against Altrincham in Kettering's 2-0 win. After scoring 8 goals in 19 games including the winner against Hartlepool in the FA Cup, Moses joined Ebbsfleet for the final months of the 2009-10 season scoring against the Poppies on his debut.

Born Enfield. Previous clubs: Tottenham (youth), Reading, Aldershot, Walsall (loan), Peterborough United. A Morell Maison signing in May 2006 from the Posh. A stylish player with a deft touch, came on leaps and bounds during his first season at the club, showing some real class. Andre scored his first goal for the Poppies in the 3-3 draw against Lancaster City at Rockingham Road. Although Andre had undoubted ability, he only showed glimpses of his talent. Leaving the club in June 2007, he joined Wycombe Wanderers in August. After an unsuccessful time with Wanderers, Andre made a surprise return to the Poppies in August 2008 and what a difference in the player. He has put in some brilliant performances under former manager Mark Cooper, showing the Kettering faithful the pure talent he is.

A powerhouse striker Mark Cooper brought to the Club on loan from Stevenage Borough. The former Coventry City, Mansfield Town, Rochdale, Leyton Orient and Kidderminster Harriers forward, capped his two goals and Man-of-the-Match award against York City, with the winning goal for the Poppies as they came from behind with 10 men at Salisbury City, to win 2-1.
Perhaps Iyseden's piece de resistance was his matching winning goal in the FA Cup 1st round replay at Lincoln City, again the Poppies won 2-1. On leaving Kettering Iyseden joined Torquay United from Stevenage.Also played for Kings Lynn, Farnborough, AFC Telford United and Tamworth before returning to the Poppies in May 2010.

A highly promising midfielder, James showed his class when he scored against the Poppies for Redditch United in the 2009-10 FA Cup. He joined the club two weeks later making his Blue Square Premier debut at Cambridge United in the Poppies 2-0 win.

The former Rushall Olympic starlet scored his first goal for the Poppies against Ebbsfleet United, going on to add two more throughout the final stages of the season against Oxford United and Tamworth, both away from home. This will be his first full season in the Blue Square Bet Premier and is tipped to go all the way.

Left Back. Born Cheltenham. Sols previous clubs, Swindon Town, Luton Town, MK Dons. A Lee Harper loan signing from the Dons in November 2009. Sol made his league debut against one of his former clubs as the Poppies ran out 1-0 winners at Luton Town. Returned to MK Dons during January when his loan period had expired. Re-joined the Poppies on a permanent basis in May 2010 after being released by MK Dons, to become Lee Harper’s first signing of the 2010-11 campaign.

Kettering born John originally joined the Poppies on loan from Oxford United. He became an instant hit with the home fans, coming off the subs bench to win the Man-of-the-Match award against table toppers Droylsden on his debut. After his loan period expired the centre half returned to United, but a day later signed on a permanent basis for the Poppies and ended the 06-07 season with five goals.

John became the captain during the 2007-08 season, leading by example he had a brilliant season as the side won the Blue Square North at a canter and John's performances earned him the 'Supporters Player of the Year', the 'Players Player of the Season' and the 'Vice President's Player of the Year', such was his dominance in the centre of defence.

Another successful Poppies season saw John pick up his second 'Supporters Player of the Year for season 2009-10. John committed himself to a further 2-3 years at the Poppies in May 2010.

Born Wood Green, London. Previous clubs: Enfield, Coventry City, Watford, Chelsea, Birmingham City, QPR, Sheffield United, Luton Town, Southend United and Barnet. The much travelled experienced striker who once commanded a £2.5 million transfer from Watford to Chelsea, joined the Poppies in July 2010 as a player coach to manager Lee Harper.

Paul is a former England semi-professional international.

Luke originally joined the Poppies from Northampton Town having previously impressed during a loan spell in 2004/5. Luke is a cultured defender who enjoys playing football in the right way and already has international experience for two different countries!

Luke likes going forward when he gets the chance, which paid dividends against AFC Telford, as he scored his third goal for the Poppies in the 1-0, victory at the New Bucks Head. This was one of the pivotal games of the season, which led the challange for the Blue Square North Championship.

Luke was loaned to Kings Lynn throughout the 2008-09 season but he joined Mansfield Town in May 2009. Later played for York City appearing in the play-off final at Wembley, before returning to the Poppies under Lee Harper in June 2010.

Lee was appointed player/manager of the club in November 2009, in succession to Mark Cooper, the man that brought him to Kettering.

An experienced goalkeeper having had spells at Sittingbourne, Arsenal, QPR, Walsall, Northampton Town and MK Dons. Lee, joined the Poppies two games into the Blue Square North season, making his debut in the 6-0 victory over Vauxhall Motors at Rockingham Road.

Lee throughout the season was a 'rock', something the Poppies had been missing between the sticks for quite a few seasons, consistent, reliable and more importantly ever-present. With Lee behind them the defensive unit proved to be the best in the Blue Square North and a season later also the Blue Square Premier. Lee was voted the Club's Player of the Season for 2008-09.

Lee was appointed the Poppies manager on a permanent basis in May 2010, after a successful caretaker period. His playing career stands at 138 appearances for the club, number 7 in the all time goalkeeping chart. He wasted no time in appointing his assitant, Tommy Jaszczun for the forthcoming season.

Tommy Jaszczun was Mark Coopers first signing for the Club.After starting his career at Aston Villa Tommy moved to Blackpool for £50,000. He has also played at Northampton, Rochdale, and more recently Cambridge United.

Tommy proved to be another Cooper successful signing with some inspirational performances at full back proving he still has what it takes at the highest level. TJ scored a memorable goal (his only one to date for the Poppies), a 25 yard rocket at Rockingham Road in the thumping 3-0 victory over Boston United, one of the goals of the season.

Once again TJ proved to be a valuable asset to Mark Cooper's squad until injury curtailed his season. Tommy was released towards the end of the 2008-09 season, joining neighbours Corby Town for their title run in.

Tommy returned to the Poppies in May 2010 as Lee Harper's assistant.

The Kettering born midfielder originally played for Rushden & Diamonds, before a move to Oxford United. Marcus became manager Lee Harper’s first addition to the 2009-10 squad in November 2009. After a few cameo appearances on loan he joined the Poppies on a permanent basis in January 2010. Marcus scored his first goal for the club away at Holker Street as the Poppies ran out 2-0 winners.
After 17 appearances and 2 goals the quick paced playmaker signed on for the 2010-11 campaign.

The former Paris St Germain, Berkhamstead Town and current French National futsal striker, created quite an impression during his first season at Rockingham Road. Fleet of foot, with blistering pace JP has the ability to mesmerize opposing defences at will.

Jean-Paul was on fire during the 2007-08 season putting in some amazing performances with his all round soccer skills show. The Frenchman scored a brilliant hat-trick (one with his head) against Hinckley United, earning him 13 goals in all competitions. 2008-09 was JP's first in the Blue Square Premier, overall he made 52 appearances out of a possible 61, scoring 11 goals in the top flight of non-league football.

JP was the club's leading goalscorer during the 2009-10 season with 12 goals. Making him the club's leading career scorer with 48 strikes in 178 appearances. This season will see him granted a testimonial.

A powerful holding midfielder whose previous clubs include Crewe Alexandra, Swindon Town, Hibernian, Livingston, Dundee and Ayia Napa (Cyprus). Patrick has undoubted ability and should shine in the Blue Square Premier, he joined the Poppies in August 2009.

In August, Patrick scored his first goal for the club in the fine 2-1 away win at Wrexham. He was a mainstay in the team throughout the campaign that finished the 2009-10 Blue Square Premier league in 6th position.

The former Walsall and Luton Town powerhouse joined the Poppies squad in July 2009 from the Hatters. His invaluable experience as a no-nonsense centre-back will inspire all around him.

Ian's performances have been so impressive he has become the team captain, enhancing his stature within the club, a masterstroke signing by Mark Cooper.

A successful season, not only did he score Kettering's goal against Leeds United in the FA Cup,in the 1-1 draw at the Elgoods, to give the Poppies the lead, but also saw Ian pick up the Player's Player of the Year award, the Vice President's Player of the season and Poppynet's Player of the season.

Born Canvey Island. Previous clubs: Arsenal, Rushden & Diamonds. A Carl Shutt signing in February 2003. Brett made an instant impact scoring a debut goal, a powerful header against Dagenham, he also was awarded the man of the match. Unfortunately the Poppies lost 1-3. Brett continued to impress in all the games he played in, so much so, Leicester City showed signs of interest. He scored the first goal of the 2003-04 campaign, a thumping header in the season opener against Northwood. An injury picked up early in the 2005-06 curtailed his performances, he didn’t play under Gazza, but when he returned to full fitness he regained the Mr Consistent tag, putting in some superb performances in a difficult season. Brett was rewarded with selection in an England Select XI against Cambridge University, the team was made up from players outside the Conference National.

Brett added to his reputation as one of the best players in the Conference North. He continued his impressive form under Mark Cooper’s first season in charge and was a valuable member of the Blue Square North Championship side chipping in with 11 goals, accumulating a successful season with a testimonial match against Oxford United at the A-Line Arena. A very popular player on and off the field who extended his stay with the club in May 2008.

Brett scored two classic goals against Notts County in the FA Cup to cement his name in the all time legends list. But after six years with the club he left for pastures new at the end of the 2008-09 season he joined Corby Town.

Brett returned to his spiritual home in July 2010, adding his experience to Lee Harper's squad.

A Mark Cooper signing from neighbours Northampton Town. Great things are expected of Greg who has already shown his ability during pre-season.

Finally getting his chance he was outstanding in the games against Barrow and Ebbsfleet United, so much so the youngster won the Man-of-the-Match award against the Fleet as the Poppies ran out 3-0 winners.

Born Bridgnorth. Ashley's previous clubs include Wrexham, Stevenage Borough, Sheffield Wednesday, Bradford City, Northampton Town, Port Vale, Chester City, Crewe Alexandra and Swindon Town. The former Manchester United trainee became a Lee Harper signing in June from Wrexham, where he was the club captain.

Ashley has been appointed club captain for the 2010-11 camapign.
